Motorists on a portion of Massachusetts Street will need to adjust their routes next week.

City crews are planning to shut down the northbound lane of Massachusetts Street from Ninth Street to 10th Street on Monday and into Tuesday.

Crews will install a fire service line for the building at 918 Massachusetts St., which is being remodeled to house Chutneys Indian Diner and Bar.

Work is expected to be completed by Tuesday, but city officials said there is a chance the project could extend into Thursday.
