Seabury girls get revenge against Wichita Defenders

Seabury girls 56, Wichita Defenders 41

Seabury avenged a 13-point loss earlier this season with a win over the Wichita Defenders on Tuesday night at Seabury.

Courtney Hoag led the Seahawks with 18 points. Alexa Gaumer scored 15, and Mariah Smith 11.

Seabury led 41-24 after the third quarter.

“We’ve been working hard all season. They played an absolutely incredible game and at the top of their potential,” said coach Keith Smith.

Seabury (8-9) hosts Eudora on Thursday.
