Seabury splits with Heritage Christian

Courtney Hoag scored 20 points and had six rebounds Friday for Seabury, which defeated Olathe Heritage Christian, 61-35, in high school girls basketball.

Seabury (7-9) opened a 14-2 scoring margin in the first quarter.

Alexa Gaumer had six assists.

Seabury hosts the Wichita Defenders on Tuesday.

Olathe Heritage boys 53, Seabury 47 (OT)

Seabury Academy rallied from a six-point fourth-quarter deficit but fell to Olathe Heritage Christian, 53-47 in overtime, in high school boys basketball Friday night at Seabury.

Seabury (1-15) will play Tuesday at home against the Wichita Defenders.
