Seabury girls fall to St. James

The short-handed Bishop Seabury girls basketball team fell, 43-38, to St. James Academy on Tuesday night at Seabury.

The Seahawks had three players who missed time in the game because of various ailments.

“Considering the injuries and illnesses, they still played hard and played good game,” Seabury coach Keith Smith said of his players.

Courtney Hoag led Seabury with 15 points, while Alexa Gaumer added 14. Mariah Smith was the only other Seahawk that scored with nine points.

Seabury (6-9) will play host to Heritage Academy at 6 p.m. Friday.
