“It is a positive fact that Pape’s Cold Compound, taken every two hours, until three consecutive doses are taken, will end the Grippe and break up the most severe cold, either in the head, chest, back, stomach or limbs. It promptly relieves the most miserable headache, dullness, head and nose stuffed up, feverishness, sneezing, sore throat, running of the nose, soreness, stiffness and rheumatic twinges. Get a 25-cent package of ‘Pape’s Cold Compound’ from your druggist and take it with the knowledge that it will positively and promptly cure your cold and end all the grippe misery without any assistance or bad after-effects and that it contains no quinine. Don’t accept something else said to be just as good. Tastes nice — acts gently.”

“Your hair becomes light, wavy, fluffy, abundant and appears as soft, lustrous and beautiful as a young girl’s after a ‘Danderine’ hair cleanse. Just try this — moisten a cloth with a little Danderine and carefully draw it through your hair, taking one small strand at a time. This will cleanse your hair of dust, dirt and excessive oil and in just a few moments you have doubled the beauty of your hair…. But what will please you most will be after a few weeks’ use when you will actually see new hair — fine and downy at first — yes — but really new hair growing all over the scalp. If you care for pretty soft hair and lots of it surely get a 25 cent bottle of Knowlton’s Danderine from any druggist or toilet counter, and just try it.”

“‘M-m-m, I like this cereal!’ Morning after morning the children say it. Their growing bodies NEED Dr. Price’s Algrain — the Cereal Food for everyone. It makes weak children robust and strong. Made of Wheat, Oats, Rice and Barley — a natural food that rebuilds brain and body. Just try it and see. Order it TODAY.”

“Pale Children? Ayer’s Sarsaparilla helps nature to make rich, red blood. No alcohol. Sold for 60 years. Ask your doctor.”

“‘Twon’t be long now before Old Sol will be warming things up with his bright rays. So it’s not a bit too early to start getting comfortable underwear for the Summer days. Our stock of undergarments of every sort — cotton, lisle and all the popular mixtures — is particularly fine and extensive. All the wanted weights are here, together with many novel conceits for the woman who is ‘fussy’ about her underwear. Naturally comfort is the ‘wanted’ thing in underwear and we insure it by purchasing only from manufacturers with an established reputation for well-fitting, velvet-finish garments. You’ll find none of the short-end prickly stuff here, no matter how little you pay. Innes, Bullene & Hackman.”
