City commission to meet Monday
The Lawrence City Commission will meet briefly Monday morning to handle a handful of routine business items.
The agenda calls for paying the city’s bills; approving the minutes of recent meetings of city boards and commissions; approving licenses for drinking establishments, cereal malt beverage sales and taxicabs; awarding a bid for trash containers; and accepting the dedication of easements for a real estate development.
The commission will meet at 8:30 a.m. at City Hall. The meeting, which will not be televised, is expected to last about 15 minutes.
