The Sunset Hill school PTO is hosting a back-to-school celebration and fundraiser to welcome the parents of new students and to raise money for the school.

PTO president Meredith Beightel said the carnival-like event will include DJ music, a cupcake walk, face painting, a dunk tank, concessions and other activities. She said the annual event is a chance for the parents of both new and returning students to get acquainted and learn more about the PTO and its activities.

The event is scheduled for 6-9 p.m. in the parking lot and field behind the school at 901 Schwarz Rd.
