The Kansas University homecoming parade is moving downtown this year.

Starting at 6 p.m. on Oct. 3, the 2013 homecoming route will travel along Massachusetts Street, instead of Jayhawk Boulevard like previous years. The community is invited to watch the spirit squad, Marching Jayhawks and plenty of colorful floats make their way downtown before attending the pep rally on 8th Street between Massachusetts and New Hampshire Streets following the parade.
