Kansas University senior women’s basketball point guard Angel Goodrich was named a Women’s Basketball Coaches Association (WBCA) honorable mention All-American on Monday.
Goodrich, who was a finalist for the Wade Trophy and Naismith, Wooden, Nancy Lieberman and USBWA Ann Meyers Drysdale awards, was an All-Big 12 pick and a member of the WBCA All-Region 5 Team. She averaged 7.2 assists, 2.8 steals and 14.1 points per game.
This season, she joined KU’s 1,000-point club and became the school’s all-time career assists leader. She finished her career with 1,262 points and 771 assists.
