— Koch Industries and the Fred and Mary Koch Foundation are donating a total of $814,000 to the Kansas State University Office of Diversity.

The Wichita Eagle reports that the donation includes a combined gift of $514,000 to increase enrollment of multicultural students in the university's business administration and engineering schools.

Koch Industries has also donated $300,000 for future scholarships to promote diversity.

The Koch Brothers are Libertarian. Libertarians view all cultures as equals, so donating to multicultural students would be something any libertarian would do given the wealth. It also seems they would be well served by making more education possible for the cores of their empire. Business + Engineering = Koch Dollars. Koch want more money, Koch pay for more book learnin.

Also, do you think anyone that gets money from the Koch brothers for college is going to hate the Kochs the way you seem to.

They may get a tax break, but they'd probably get one for opening a mall and making a few extra bucks.

That you would question their motive so carelessly shows how blindly you parrot the party line.

Hate them for the right reason if you are going to bother.
