Free State volleyball sweeps Shawnee Mission South tri

Overland Park — The Free State volleyball team stayed perfect in Sunflower League play with two victories on Thursday at the Shawnee Mission South triangular.

The Firebirds (9-4 overall, 5-0 Sunflower League) defeated the host team, 25-22, 25-13, before taking down Shawnee Mission Northwest, 25-12, 25-17.

FSHS will play again next Thursday at Shawnee Mission East.
