25 years ago: Hearing on eviction of man with disability postponed again

From the Lawrence Daily Journal-World for Sept. 9, 1987:

A hearing scheduled for a man facing eviction from his Clinton Place apartment was delayed for a second time this morning. The Kansas Court of Appeals was still in the process of reviewing the case of Michael Fargo, a 39-year-old man with a disability, whose eviction had been called a “misinterpretation” of the rules by the federal Department of Housing and Urban Development. Fargo had been faced with eviction after the discovery that he had been performing freelance computer work in his apartment in violation of the lease.
