The Kansas Land Trust will hold a disc-golf tournament fundraiser Oct. 20 at Thronfield Disc Golf Course, 6701 W. 167th St., Stilwell, to help conserve an additional 2,000 acres of prairie, ranch land and farmland this year.

The nonprofit organization currently has conserved around 17,000 acres of Kansas land that it considers ecologically important.

The individual entry fee is $50 and will include lunch provided by 23rd Street Brewery. KLT is still looking for business and group sponsors.
