Melvern Teri Huslig filled up the stat sheet and the Veritas Christian volleyball team won its opening two matches of the season, Tuesday at the Marais des Cygnes Valley triangular.
Veritas defeated Kansas School for the Deaf, 25-6, 25-11 before taking down the hosts, 25-9, 25-12.
Huslig registered a combined 31 service points, 18 assists, 12 aces along with a block and a kill in the two matches. Lacey Billings led Veritas with three kills in the opener and seven in the next.
Veritas (2-0) will play next on Saturday at the Frankfort tournament.
