Kansas women’s golf in 10th place

? Junior Thanuttra Boonraksasat leads the Kansas University women’s golf team after shooting an even-par 72 in the first round of the Palmetto Intercollegiate on Sunday at the Oak Point Golf Club.

The Jayhawks shot a 307 in the first round, which placed them 10th. KU was able to complete 14 holes in the second round and had improved to seventh place when play was suspended due to darkness.

Kansas’ other scores: Meghan Potee, tied for 38th, 77; Yupaporn Kawinpakorn and Audrey Yowell, tied for 56th, 79; and Gabby DiMarco, tied for 72nd, 80.

The tournament continues today.
