A 29-year-old Lawrence woman pleaded guilty Tuesday to aggravated battery with a deadly weapon stemming from a New Year’s Day assault at Burrito King, 900 Illinois.
Kristin E. Silva was accused, along with another woman, of assaulting a woman in the drive-thru at Burrito King. The victim was hospitalized after the assault.
The co-defendant in the case, April Jones, 25, pleaded guilty in September to a similar charge.
Silva will be sentenced Dec. 14, and she faces a sentence of probation up to three years in prison, depending on her criminal history.
