Eudora football blanks Baldwin, 20-0

— Eudora shut out Baldwin to win Class 4A District 4 behind Andrew Ballock’s 123 rushing yards on 21 carries.

Markis Hill rounded out the Eudora scoring in the fourth quarter with a 72-yard touchdown run.

Eudora (8-1) will play at home in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs against De Soto, and Baldwin (6-3) will travel to Spring Hill.

Tonganoxie 18, Basehor-Linwood 11

Basehor — Tonganoxie claimed its first district title since 2005 after scoring 18 unanswered points on Thursday night at Basehor-Linwood.

Junior Cole Holloway rushed five yards for the winning touchdown, his second score of the game. Holloway carried the ball 38 times for 232 yards, both season-highs, to reach 1,075 rushing yards for the season.

Shane Levy rushed 14 times for 123 yards and caught two passes for 36 yards.

Tonganoxie hosts Atchison on Tuesday in the first round of the Class 4A playoffs, having lost to Atchison, 25-0, earlier this season.
