Zombie Squad to tout preparedness at library
Just in time for Halloween, the Kansas City chapter of The Zombie Squad will come to the Lawrence Public Library, 707 Vermont, today to give advice on disaster planning, home winterization and dealing with legions of the undead.
According to The Zombie Squad’s website, the group’s mission “is to educate the public about the importance of personal preparedness and community service, to increase its readiness to respond to disasters such as earthquakes, floods or zombie outbreaks.”
The meeting will be at 7 p.m. today. The group will also have its zombie-ready jeep on display. For more information visit www.zombiehunters.org.
