Kansas University freshman tennis player Anastasija Trubica won two matches to top Singles Draw C on Saturday at the KU Invitational at Jayhawk Tennis Center.

Trubica took down Drake’s Ali Patterson, 7-5, 6-1, in the semifinals and defeated Kansas State’s Amina St. Hill in the finals, 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.

Trubica and partner Claire Dreyer also placed third in their doubles draw, while Victoria Khanevskaya and Dreyer took third and fifth, respectively, in singles action.
