Lawrence police are looking for the driver of a light-colored compact car after it hit a pedestrian near the intersection of 25th and Iowa streets and fled about 9:35 p.m.
The collision left the pedestrian with minor injuries. The vehicle was last seen heading north on Iowa Street.

if driver was drunk at the time, he/she has learned from lawrence history and is waiting for blood alcohol to drop before turning him/herself in to the authorities.
