Norman, Okla. ? Kansas University women’s golf moved into fifth place after two rounds of the Susie Maxwell Berning Classic at the Jimmie Austin OU Golf Club on Tuesday.

Yupaporn Kawinpakorn, Gabby DiMarco and Audrey Yowell each shot 75. Kawinpakorn’s two-round total of 146 ties her for seventh in the 96-golfer field, six strokes behind leader Lindsey Weaver of Notre Dame (140).

As a team, KU shot a 303 in the second round and is at 600, 24-over par, after two rounds, one stroke behind fourth-place Notre Dame (599).

Meghan Potee carded a 78 and is one stroke behind DiMarco at 152, tied for 28th. Freshman Ann-Kathrin Wuensch shot 87.

The third and final round is today.
