A new drop-off bin for recycling aluminum cans is now open at On the Rocks, 1818 Mass.

The location is the latest of 12 operated by Cans for the Community, a Lawrence group that donates recycling proceeds. Its beneficiaries vary; the latest was Douglas County Special Olympics. Alpha Kappa chapter members of the Omega Phi Alpha sorority will bag the cans at the newest location.
