Las Cruces, N.M. ? Kansas University junior Yupaporn Kawinpakorn shot a 3-under 69 to lead all golfers after the first round of the Price’s “Give ‘Em Five” Intercollegiate on Monday at the N.M. State University Golf Course. KU sits in second place in the team standings.

KU junior Meghan Potee is tied for 10th individually after shooting a 1-over par 73, while sophomore Gabby DiMarco is tied for 22nd with a 75. Freshman Thanuttra Boonraksasat is two shots behind DiMarco at 77, tied for 38th, and senior Audry Yowell shot an 81 and is tied 66th.

The second of three rounds will be played today.
