A school bus hit another school bus outside New York School Friday afternoon, leaving a child on board with minor injuries.

A Children’s Learning Center bus hit a parked Boys and Girls Club bus and its side mirror broke a window on the Boys and Girls Club bus. One child out of the 22 on the bus “sustained minor scrapes” after the window broke, said Julie Boyle, a district spokeswoman.

Both drivers and the one child on the Learning Center bus were uninjured. An ambulance came to the school, 936 N.Y., but no one was transported.

Alex, you may want to take another look at the first sentence in the last paragraph.

"School bus" is misleading since these were independently owned buses from child care providers and not district contracted buses from First Student.

They are buses. They transport children to and from school. ergo, they are school buses. Not misleading at all.
