Police were unable to locate the suspect, who was described as being in his 30s, about 6-foot tall with a thin build and wearing a grey, hooded sweatshirt and grey sweat pants.

Beware all thin, black men of Lawrence, you will be harrassed and profiled more than ever by the Lawrence police department and one of you may even be picked up and chosen to be the culprit, all to make the LPD look great in the eyes of it's residents. Exception: the thin, built 6 foot men of the KU basketball team. And if one of these players so happens to get nicked just offer the officer KU basketball tickets.

I think it was 12:30 pm not am ? I drove by there then and there were 3 police cars there and all 3 police officers were out of their cars searching the area. It might be good to state the correct time in case someone saw something ???
