Eudora football shuts out Louisburg, advances to state semis

Louisburg — Andrew Ballock rushed for 150 yards and a touchdown to lead Eudora to the Class 4A state semifinals.

The Cardinals (11-1) will play host to Kansas City Piper.

Lyndon 39, McLouth 6

Mclouth — McLouth High’s best football season in seven years came to an end Friday with a 39-6, Class 2-1A sectional playoff loss to Lyndon at Stan Braksick Sports Complex.

The Tigers (11-0) took a 13-0 lead into the locker room at halftime, then put the game on ice when they opened the second half with 20 straight points. The Bulldogs (9-2) didn’t score until late in the third quarter when the game was already out of reach.
