McLouth rolls past Jackson Heights in first-round playoff game

— Held scoreless in the first quarter, McLouth shook off the slow start and pulled away for a 42-8 victory over Jackson Heights in a first-round Class 2-1A state football playoff game on Friday.

Marc Walbridge passed for 156 yards and three touchdowns and rushed for 72 yards for the Bulldogs, who amassed 415 yards of total offense.

T.J. Crowell had 21 carries for 114 yards and a TD for McLouth, and Dakota Cop had 13 carries for 73 yards and two TDs and two catches for 99 yards and another score.

Nick McAferty had four catches for 57 yards and two touchdowns.

McLouth (9-1) will play host to Lyndon (10-0) on Friday.
