$1700 a computer, must have been a Mac.

Or they were loaded with expensive software. But, yeah, probably a Mac.

I can confirm that they are indeed Macbooks. Here's a list of serials: Silver Macbook Pro 15" laptops W80301C0AGW W80301E7AGW W80301D1AGW W80301ERAGW W80301BGAGW W80301ALAGW W80301Q2AGW W80301Q5AGW W80301EZAGW W80301F1AGW W80301FKAGW W8030104AGW W80301FAAGW W80301A9AGW W80301FPAGW W80301TGAGW W80301FFAGW W80301FHAGW

If you come across one, report it as stolen. It should be pretty obvious that it's stolen when powered on, given that the laptops haven't been reformatted.

Too bad Yellow House isn't open, it would make retrieval much more easy.

Likely an inside job. Otherwise, how would the thieves know the cart would be there, loaded with computers? It's not like someone was walking by and happened to notice them and had the means to carry them off right there and then.

I'd have to agree. Hopefully KUPD or LPD are at least looking at the student rosters for the courses using those machines, scanning for any criminal histories.

At least they didn't take the real computers.

Yea, praise be that the Art & Design Dept still have their Commodores-- what could they do without them?
