• Bobette Puderbaugh has joined Seamless Data Systems as the client relations representative. Puderbaugh works out of Seamless Data’s Lawrence location, 123 W. Eighth St., Suite 202. She obtained her Master of Business Administration from Kansas University.

• Ralena McCurdy has been promoted to medical office manager for Lawrence Therapy Services and Baldwin Therapy Services. Lawrence Therapy Services provides outpatient massage, physical, occupational and speech therapy in Douglas County.

• More than 450 people attended the 2012 Kansas Optometric Association Convention from April 26 to 28 in Topeka.

The 2012-13 Board of Directors was installed. The new officers include: Dr. Ron D. Hansen, Hutchinson, president; Roger N. Joyce, El Dorado, president-elect; Dr. Craig E. Newland, Parsons, secretary-treasurer; Dr. Jason C. Eubank, Wichita, director; Dr. Chad J. Thompson, Beloit, director; Dr. Dawn D. Williams, Garden City, director; Dr. Jeffrey A. Heyd, Scott City, zone president; Dr. Brandon K. Hunter, Leawood, zone president; Dr. Brad D. Majher, Wichita, zone president; Dr. Charles A. Rottinghaus, Topeka, zone president; Dr. Jeff J. Schletzbaum, Hutchinson, zone president; Dr. Matt D. Skahan, Iola, zone president; Dr. Travis K. Sharpe, Salina, zone president; and Dr. Larry D. Stoppel, Washington, past president.

The William A. Carriger Sr. Legislative Service Award was presented to Dr. Jeannette L. Holland, Oskaloosa, and Dr. Jason B. Rogers, Overland Park, for their work in the political process.

Optometrists were able to attend 13 hours of continuing education on developments in eye care for re-licensure. Among those attending was Dr. David Barnhart of Eudora.

• Ashlee Roll-Gregory has joined Stephens Real Estate as marketing and technology coordinator. She will coordinate print advertising, website content and social media for Stephens Real Estate. Roll-Gregory comes to Stephens from the Lawrence Convention & Visitors Bureau, where she served as the assistant marketing manager for more than six years. Before that, she managed the marketing and web presence at Hines Commercial Real Estate in Atlanta.
