KU police, Douglas County prosecutors looking into online threat

Kansas University police forwarded information to Douglas County prosecutors Tuesday after a student on Twitter made an alleged threat to blow up a parking lot.

Elizabeth Phillips, assistant director of the KU Public Safety Office, said that officers were able to identify the person and that prosecutors will make a decision about whether to file formal charges. According to a KU police report, the KU parking services department contacted police about 10:38 a.m. Tuesday.
