Lawrence police arrested Alexander Frederick Ott, a 27-year-old Lawrence resident, on a charge of aggravated battery after being called to the 1400 block of Clare Court, according to Douglas County Jail records. Kim Murphree, a police spokeswoman, said the man was arrested at 9:49 p.m. Sunday after striking a victim with a baseball bat in a domestic incident. The victim suffered an injury on the forearm, she said.
