• Hidden Valley is in need of volunteers to come help out on its annual Trail Maintenance Workday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. Saturday, June 2 (rain date: June 9). Volunteers will help prepare the property for Girl Scouts Day Camp by walking all the trails and cutting back honeysuckle, mulching trails, clear cutting around the site and clearing debris around bridges. Tools and refreshments will be provided, but volunteers should plan to bring gloves, a water bottle or cup, bug spray and sunscreen, and they should wear long-sleeved shirts, long pants and enclosed shoes. Any volunteers willing to bring chain saws are especially appreciated. Volunteers will sign in at the main parking lot at 8 a.m., located just past the northwest corner of the intersection of Bob Billings Parkway and Kasold Drive.
