KU softball no-hit, 9-0

? Two Texas A&M pitchers combined on a no-hitter, and the Aggies banged 11 hits in a 9-0 rout of Kansas University in the Jayhawks’ regular-season finale.

Mel Dumezich (26-11) and Lindsey Sisk silenced KU (31-20 overall, 6-17 Big 12). Dumezich struck out five over three innings. Sisk walked one and struck out two over the final two frames.

Alicia Pille (17-12) took the loss after surrendering three earned runs off three hits over just one-third of an inning.

Though she was held hitless, KU junior left fielder Maggie Hull finished the regular season with a .409 batting average, breaking the school single-season record, surpassing the .400 by Jill Larson in 1979.

KU will learn its NCAA Tournament fate Sunday.
