KU baseball edges UALR

— Jordan Dreiling had four hits and three RBIs, and Alex DeLeon and Michael Suiter each hit three-run home runs as Kansas University outslugged Arkansas-Little Rock, 16-12, in nonconference baseball Tuesday at Hogan Field.

Each team had 17 hits against a combined nine pitchers.

Suiter was 2-for-5 with a career-best five RBIs.

UALR fell to 22-22.

Kansas (18-27) will host the Jayhawk Classic this weekend, starting with a 6 p.m. game Friday against Air Force.
