Public invited to retired KU prof’s annual campus tour

The public is invited to participate in retired Kansas University French professor Ted Johnson’s annual Stop Day Walking Tour of KU.

The tour, which consists of “informal, peripatetic, Socratic dialogues growing out of various sites,” is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Friday.

It begins in front of the Natural History Museum near 14th Street and Jayhawk Boulevard at 9 a.m. In case of inclement weather, the tour will start inside nearby Lippincott Hall.

The tour continues throughout the day, and people may join or leave the tour as they wish. The group will meet for lunch around 1 p.m. at the Crimson Cafe inside the Burge Union. A complete tour schedule is available online at hwc.ku.edu/news.
