The Douglas County Republican Party is inviting the public to a mixer with Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger.

The event starts at 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Lawrence Country Club, 400 Country Club Terrace.

It is free and open to the public. The event is co-sponsored by Republican Initiative 2012 and the Kansas University College Republicans.
