Lawrence police officers and detectives executed a search warrant Friday afternoon at a west Lawrence residence as part of an ongoing investigation, said Sgt. Trent McKinley, a police spokesman.

He said police were collecting evidence at the residence on Shadybrook Drive, just east of the 2500 block of Crossgate Drive. Several people were in the residence at the time, but no arrests were expected Friday, McKinley said.

Whoever it was, law enforcement most likely had their house illegally bugged. They would be foolish not to fight it based on having had their civil-rights violated. They knew exactly who was in the house and when to execute the warrant based upon 100% illegal and unconstitutional information gleened from violating their civil-rights.

I heard from a guy who knows a guy whose friend says it's a car theft ring or maybe something else.

That's common police practice these days. You don't have to like it...feel free to attempt denying the truth. It's ok, I'll keep telling it the way it is.
