Hutchinson man expected to plead guilty to threatening Obama

? A Kansas man accused of threatening President Barack Obama is expected to plead guilty in the case.

U.S. District Judge J. Thomas Marten on Tuesday scheduled a change-of-plea hearing March 29 for Michael Scott Ramsey.

The Hutchinson man was indicted last July on charges of threatening to harm or kill the president in 2009 and again in 2011.

Ramsey had been scheduled for an April 3 trial. Last month, the judge found him competent to stand trial following a psychological examination at a federal medical center.
