Repairs to close Clinton Lake road

Vehicle access to Clinton Lake’s Woodridge Park will be blocked next week so crews with Douglas County Public Works can replace two culverts.

Between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. from Monday to March 19, the road leading into Woodridge Park, which is at the far northwest corner of the lake, will be closed. The construction will take place at the intersection of North 1250 Road and East 350 Road.

After the first week of repairs, the road should be passable; however, work will continue and equipment will be on site. The final grading and cleanup work is expected to last until April 5 and may cause temporary closures to the intersection during the day.

Public Works crews also will replace a culvert on North 1250 Road just east of East 300 Road. This work shouldn’t cause any road closures and will begin after the two culverts are replaced at East 350 Road. Some temporary traffic disruptions might be required during construction.
