Daylight saving time begins this weekend

It’s time again to spring forward. (And not, of course, to fall back.)

Daylight saving time in the U.S. begins at 2 a.m. Sunday, except in Arizona and Hawaii, where it’s not observed, and ends at 2 a.m. Nov. 4.

On Sunday, clocks should go ahead an hour at 2 a.m., losing an hour for the sake of a longer day of sunlight during the warmest months of the year.
