Never go though Sallie Mae, worst loan company ever! We made the mistake of co-signing a loan for a family memeber, and they were calling us up to get the money. We ended up not having a choice but to pay it. Then they told us that the payment takes four days to process and still would charge intrest while in process. For four days that was 4.62. This is on a loan that is not even mine. Then they tell me she can collect the tax refund on the loan we payed. How can that be even legal! BEWARE OF SALLIE MAE!
