— Kansas University’s baseball team rallied with a three-run ninth, but it was too little, too late in a 7-4 loss Friday at Texas-San Antonio.

UTSA (7-3) opened with a four-run first, and KU (5-3) never recovered.

Casey Selsor (3-0) won. He allowed just one run off five hits over eight innings.

Frank Duncan (2-1) took the loss. He allowed four runs — all earned, all in the first — off nine hits over six innings.

Jake Marasco was 2-for-4 with two runs, and Chris Manship was 2-for-4 with three RBIs for Kansas.

The Jayhawks will face Louisiana at 2 p.m. today.
