A sleeping resident of the 5200 block of Fox Chase Drive awoke to the sound of a door chime slightly before 4 a.m. Sunday and then heard someone leaving through a sliding glass door in the house. Police searched the area but did not find a suspect, and the man reported nothing missing, Sgt. Trent McKinley, a Lawrence police spokesman, said.
