Douglas County under severe thunderstorm watch

The National Weather Service has issued a severe thunderstorm watch for Douglas County until 11 p.m. Franklin, Jefferson and Shawnee counties are also included in the watch.

  Plan ahead when campiing on ground due to humidity
  Rising upward from the ground it can cause lighting strike.
