Twenty Lawrence teenagers have spent the summer working with area businesses and agencies to plan and create vibrant outdoor benches through Van Go Inc.’s summer Benchmark project, a jobs training program for high-needs youths. The artists will unveil their benches in a free program starting at 5 p.m. July 20 at Van Go, 715 N.J.

This is the 15th year of the Benchmark program and nearly 250 benches have been commissioned and created. The artists are ages 14 to 18.
