Kansas vaulter Bowen 11th in Spain

Barcelona, Spain — Kansas University sophomore-to-be Casey Bowen tied for 11th in his qualification flight and failed to advance to the final in the pole vault at the IAAF World Junior Track & Field Championships on Tuesday.

Bowen cleared 16 feet, 3 inches.
