Eugene, Ore. ? Kansas University freshman Michael Stigler placed seventh in the men’s 400-meter hurdles on Sunday at the U.S. Olympic Trials at Hayward Field.

And KU junior Andrea Geubelle placed 11th in the women’s long jump.

Stigle finished in 50.63.

Geubelle, who placed third in the triple jump a week ago, jumped 20 feet, 73/4 inches on her final try.
