A burglary and theft of copper pipe and wire occurred overnight last week at Gertrude Sellards Pearson Hall, 500 W. 11th St., according to a Kansas University police report. The crime occurred between 3:40 p.m. Thursday and 6:55 a.m. Friday at the residence hall. Someone broke a window and removed the pipe and wire valued at $3,536.
