Kansas, Bombardier to give details of expansion deal

? Gov. Sam Brownback and Bombardier Aerospace officials plan to release details Tuesday of a deal between the state and the company for the expansion of a Learjet plant in Wichita.

The incentive package is expected to make room for the firm’s newest business jet. The company has said the project could mean 450 jobs at the Kansas plant. The city and county have already each approved $1 million for their portions of the plan.

This would be Bombardier’s second incentives deal with the state in the past two years.
