Swim clinic: Lawrence-area athletes will have a unique chance to enhance their competitive swimming skills by working with two swimming champions, Josh Davis and Ian Crocker. The Lawrence Aquahawks will host a Mutual of Omaha Breakout! Swim Clinic on Jan. 29, at the Lawrence Indoor Aquatic Center. FSHS fundraiser: A fund-raiser for Free State High’s baseball and softball teams will be held 6-11 p.m. Jan. 28 at Alvamar Country Club. The adults-only fundraiser will include live and silent auctions and a Trivia Night. The funds raised will go toward the construction of new indoor batting cages that both teams will benefit from year-round.
